Angeles College of Nursing (hereinafter referred to as ACN) was founded in 2004 by John Krause who recognized the demand for qualified healthcare professionals in a community where the patients are diverse and proficient care is at a deficit. ACN was incorporated in March, 2004 as a private education institution in Los Angeles, California and has operated under the approval of the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education ("Bureau") since June, 2005. Throughout its history, ACN has been providing a comprehensive education in the fields of healthcare by offering courses that will culminate into careers of Vocational Nursing, Medical Assistant, and other health professionals.
It is our intent to successfully train and prepare students by adhering to the philosophy of a "Patient-Centered Approach." With courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Pharmacology, and ECG (Electrocardiography), as well as training programs for Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, and Phlebotomy Technician, students completing the courses/programs will be able to confidently demonstrate and practice requisite skills and knowledge.
